Sri Venkateswara Engineering College, Suryapet, has entered into a partnership with T-Hub on 20 March 2021. The primary objective of this partnership is to foster an environment and culture of innovation at SVES.

The partnership will include T-Hub’s learning initiative which will equip our faculty with tools and frameworks which world's most successful individuals / corporations use to innovate & grow using Design Thinking. The program is specifically designed to train our faculty on the following aspects:
• Discovery (Understanding Challenges)
• Interpretation (Framing Opportunities)
• Ideation (Generating & Refining Ideas)
• Experimentation (Making Prototypes)
• Evolution (Track Learnings & Growing)

T-Hub leads India’s pioneering innovation ecosystem that powers next-generation products and new business models. Since its incorporation in 2015, it has provided 1,100+ national and international startups access to better technology, talent, mentors, customers, corporations, investors and government agencies. The 70,000 square feet T-Hub has been home to over 300 startups since its inception, 52 of which have gone on to raise funds and register 36 patents and trademarks. The National Department of Science and Technology has recognised T-Hub as a business incubator, the first of its kind to receive this grant outside premier institutes such as IITs and IIMs.

Under Phase-1, 28 teaching faculty along with Principal, Director and HoD’s attended the day-long event at T-Hub, IIIT Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on 20th March 2021. The Office Bearers and GB Members also actively participated. Sri Aditya Margam was a Special Guest who shared his thoughts with the team. Subsequent phases will include online mentoring and visits by T-Hub mentors to SVES.

With this initiative, SVES aims to start an eco-system to enable innovative thinking amongst students to address emerging global opportunities & challenges. An Innovation Centre / Incubation Hub at SVES is the next step to help in ideation and experimentation.
